In southeast Iowa, the crop is a bit behind with 12% blooming. The five-year average is 21% blooming. Overall, Iowa’s soybeans are rated 17% excellent, 67% good, and 14% fair.
Iowa’s corn condition is rated 85% good to excellent. In southeast Iowa, 7% of corn is silking, nearly on pace with the five-year average of 8%.
