The Kalona Public Library has expanded their hours for in-person appointments. It will now be open on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Individuals can set up a 30-minute appointment to browse the collection and check out books, or they can use the library’s computers. The library will also open their doors for their book sale every Monday in July. Books, DVDs, and kids’ items will be available to purchase from 9:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. by appointment. Each patron will be able to purchase a bag for $3 to fill up with any materials on sale. The curbside pickup program will continue.
