The Keota softball team had a hard time in their first round class 1A regional game on Monday, as they fell to Tri-County 10-0 on the road to end their season.
The Trojans were methodical scoring in the second, third, fourth, and fifth inning to make it a short night that ended in the mercy-rule. Lauren Molyneux was tough to stop for the Trojans, as she went 4-for-4 with four RBI. The Eagles had just three baserunners in the contest and did not record a hit off of Tri-County pitcher Delanie Little.
Keota closes the summer 0-12 and they say goodbye to seniors Jaime Schulte and Addison Swanson.
