A hay barn caught fire near Crawfordsville early Monday morning. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 1:47 a.m. emergency officials received a call that a hay barn was on fire and close to other structures. The fire was in the 2900 grid of 330th Street, about five miles southwest of Crawfordsville.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters from the Crawfordsville, Wayland, and Olds Fire Departments. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, Crawfordsville QRS, and Alliant Energy also responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
