Rain and a drop in temperatures started the week in Washington. According to the National Weather Service Washington received approximately half an inch of rain Sunday into Monday. Over an inch of rain fell in Columbus Junction. On Sunday, the high temperature in Washington reached 91 degrees.

The National Weather Service says eastern Iowa’s forecast this week calls for partly sunny skies with high temperatures in the 80s, with chances for showers later in the week. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
