July 18th, supporters of Hillcrest Academy enjoyed a day on the links at the Kalona Golf Course. The day started at 7:30 with registration and refreshments with an 8a.m. shotgun start. Standout players for the day included top flight winners Carson Miller, Troy Slaubaugh, Keith Miller and Todd Troyer with their first place score of 61. Second place top flight group included Wendell Miller, Sheldon Yoder, Adam Yoder, Doug Stoltzfus and Jerry Miller with their 64. The third place top flight group was Joel Beachy, Tom Miller, Jon Beachy and Tim Litwiller with a 65. Adam Yoder was the longest drive winner, Nate Anderson took home longest putt honors and Aaron Gingerich was the closest to the pin winner. All proceeds from the event benefit Hillcrest Academy.
