The Louisa County Conservation Department will be hosting a hunter education field day on Saturday, August 29 from 9 a.m. till noon at the Chinkapin Education Recreation Area in Columbus Junction. Participants will have to complete a hunter’s education course and provide their voucher or certificate of completion of a hunter’s education course prior to participating in this event. Louisa County is offering online hunter’s education courses along with this field day for $29. A link to sign up for the course can be found at the Louisa County Conservation website.
