Hillcrest Academy will be adopting health and safety protocols at their athletics events for the fall sporting season. Fans at indoor and outdoor venues will be required to wear a face covering and practice proper social distancing. Activities Director Chris Nachtigall says a 50% capacity limit on fan attendance was the original plan for the district, but that plan will be looked at further. Fan limitations will still be considered, but Nachtigall wants to allow as many fans as possible to athletics events while keeping everyone healthy and safe.

Concession stands will be open during games, but social distancing in lines and crowd control will be in place. Fans who have come in contact with a COVID-19 positive individual in the past 14 days or are showing symptoms of COVID-19 should refrain from attending events. Nachtigall says more information on these guidelines will be released on the Hillcrest Academy website and social media pages.
