The week four polls for cross country are out from the Iowa Track and Field Coaches Association, highlighting the work of several area teams and individuals in the KCII listening area.
In the team polls, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls remain at No. 1 in class 2A for the fourth straight week. Last time on the course they won the Pella Invitational. Mid-Prairie has three ranked runners in their lineup, all checking in within the top four in the state in class 2A. Danielle Hostetler remains No. 1 while Jaden Yoder is second and Sydney Yoder is fourth.
The Mid-Prairie boys stayed at No. 3 in class 2A in this week’s team poll following their title at Pella. The Golden Hawk boys have three ranked runners in their lineup with Thaddeus Shetler 19th, Jamison Stutzman 21st and Chandler Hershberger 26th.
The Columbus Wildcat boys are listed among the teams to watch in class 2A for this week and Brody Barton of Winfield-Mt. Union sits at No. 25 in the class 1A individual poll.
