Items purchased during this week’s KCII Home Shopping Extravaganza can be picked up today. Over 100 businesses took part in the three-day shopping event that gave listeners a chance to buy items at discounted rates. Items varied from jewelry and guitars to hotel stays and grocery packages.

KCII General Manager Joe Nichols says it’s one way to treat yourself while supporting local businesses, “Absolutely, why not save some money, you know. And at the same time there’s great ways to support our local businesses by being a part of this with us. And of course, you’re getting something in return for that. So, you get to support the local businesses, you get a discount on some things, save a little bit of money, and still find ways to get out and do some things.”

Any purchases made during the three-day event can be paid for and picked up between 9 a.m. and noon today. Stop by the KCII Big Red Radio at 110 East Main Street in downtown Washington. All remaining items can be purchased at 50% off.
