The Hillcrest Academy Raven volleyball team bowed out in the pool play round of the Southeast Iowa Superconference Tournament Thursday at Central Lee High School. The Ravens were swept by Burlington Notre Dame 25-12 and 25-9 and swept by the Hawks on their home court 25-9 and 25-11. On the night the Ravens were led by Esther Hughes with five kills, Yani Gutierrez had six assists and Grace Miller 12 digs. After the pair of losses Hillcrest stands at 1-14 on the year. They will next be in action Thursday when they travel to Winfield-Mt. Union.
