Two Riverside residents were arrested Thursday following a vehicle rollover. The Washington County Safety Center received a call at 5:15 p.m. in regards to subjects at 380 E. Hickory Street in Riverside that were intoxicated in the yard of the home. Just before 10 p.m. another call was made regarding the same subjects, this time at 1406 Tulip Avenue, with the intoxicated subjects advising they had just rolled their vehicle at a third location. The vehicle was located at Spruce and 130th Street.
Officers responded and arrested 37-year-old Jessica Lisa Meyer of Riverside and 57-year-old Scott Glen Matthes of Riverside. Meyer is charged with public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor; and Matthes is charged with possession of dangerous weapons while intoxicated, a serious misdemeanor; carrying weapons, a misdemeanor; public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor; driving under suspension, a simple misdemeanor; and failure to maintain control, a simple misdemeanor. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
