The Hillcrest Academy volleyball team travels to meet conference rival Highland tonight in Riverside. The Ravens come into the night with an overall record of 1-16. They were swept on senior night in Kalona Tuesday by the Columbus Wildcats. For the season, the Ravens are led by Esther Hughes with 86 kills, seventh in the Superconference North Division. Yani Gutierrez has a team best 85 assists, ninth in the north while Evelyn Gerber leads the Raven defense with 108 digs.

Highland comes in with an overall mark of 3-13 overall, they are winless in the Superconference. Last time out the Huskies were beaten in three matches Saturday at the New London tournament. On the season, Highland is led by Carson Mellinger with 40 kills. Dani Laughlin has 98 assists, seventh most in the Superconference North. Mackinzie Hora leads the Highland defense with 107 digs. These two teams met once a season ago with the Huskies scoring a sweep. Action begins tonight at 6p.m. at Highland High School.
