The Highland football team lost to Regina Catholic last Friday for their final game of the regular season with the final score being 56-19.

The Huskies really focused on the run game having 192 rushing yards as a team and going zero for seven through the air.  Owen Donovan led the team on offense with 152 yards on the ground. Donovan also led the defense with eight tackles. Brenton Bonebrake had an interception which he returned for a touchdown. For the Regals they just couldn’t be stopped on offense. They went 13/15 passing for 256 yards while the run game picked up 257. The ground game was led by Theo Kolie who had 167 yards. The defense was led by Blake Chambliss with six tackles and one sack.

After this contest Highland moved to 1-5 while the Regals improved to 6-1. The class A first round of playoffs starts this week with Highland playing at Alburett while Regina has a bye.
