A portion of Vine Avenue in Washington County will undergo a construction project starting Monday. The Washington County Engineer’s Office announced that work will begin on Vine Avenue north of Highway 22 on Monday (10/19).

Work will include three box culvert extensions with associated grading and seeding. The anticipated time of completion is 30 working days, depending on the weather. The work will require temporary shoulder closures with flaggers when needed to direct traffic through the construction zone.

Iowa Bridge and Culvert, L.C. of Washington was awarded the contract for $256,509.72.
