Ballots are being cast in the general election and Tuesday night at 9 p.m. is the deadline to do so. Voters in Washington County have one contested county-level race. That is for the District 4 Washington County Board of Supervisors seat and only voters in Washington’s wards 1 and 4 will vote in that race. The seat is currently held by Republican Stan Stoops who is seeking reelection and he is challenged by Democrat Lorraine Williams.

Voters in Washington County will also weigh in on state races including House District 78 with incumbent Republican Jarad Klein and Democrat Kimberly Davis; House District 84 with incumbent Republican Joe Mitchel and Democrat Jeff Fager; and Senate District 42 with incumbent Democrat Rich Taylor and Republican Jeff Reichman.
