Author Charles Dickens will be celebrated through a couple events this month at the Washington Public Library.

Early this month the Roaming Readers Book Club will “Spend December with Dickens” with discussions held via Zoom this Monday and December 14, 21, and 28 from 9-10 a.m. The club will discuss Dickens’ life and read the book “A Tale of Two Cities.” On December 17th at 7 p.m. the public can enjoy a Dickens classic for the library’s “Holiday Read Around Zoom” event. Library Director Bryna Walker invites adults interested to sign up to help read “A Christmas Carol” aloud through the video conference application.
