Center Point-Urbana was the destination for the Washington wrestling team on Tuesday for a quadrangular meet and the Demons were defeated in three duals.

Washington lost to Anamosa 54-12, Central Elkader 52-16, and CPU 66-12. Out of 11 contested matches on the night Washington won three of them. Jacob Hill at 182 lbs recorded two of the victories going 2-1 on the day with a 12-0 major decision and a pin in 53 seconds. Chase Greiner at 170 lbs was the other victorious Demon with a fall in 1:20.

Washington falls to 2-8 on the year and they get back on the mat tonight at New London for a triangular with the Tigers and Columbus Community.
