Results from the Iowa State Dance competition in Des Moines from November were finally released last week and Washington had plenty of division I ratings to go around. 

An award ceremony took place virtually on Saturday for the November 17th Championship event. The Demons placed 10th in the Class IX Pom with a score of 248 points out of a possible 300 to be awarded a division I rating. The same rating was given for Class IV Jazz when Washington finished 10th with 250 points. Sophomore Abby Renoux also competed in the Class VI Dance solo division and received a division I rating for her efforts. 

Demons that participated at state include Renoux, Sophia Kleese, Anna Collett, Haley Mitchell, Madison Hesseltine, Abby Kleese, Iris Peterson, and Ellie Anderson.
