Residents and property owners with Riverside addresses have until the end of the month to return their surveys to determine the need and makeup of a possible new community center.

Over 1200 surveys were mailed out and City Administrator Christine Yancey says they want as much feedback as they can get on whether to move forward with the project, “Right now we have 225 (surveys) that we’ve gotten back so far. Which is about 16 percent and I’d like to get more in the 20 to 25 percent range.”

Yancey says if your survey was lost, replacements are available and multiple surveys from a household will be accepted. The letter also contains a QR code respondents can scan into their phone to complete surveys online.
