A few Washington wrestlers started up the second half of the season last night at Center Point Urbana for a junior varsity invitational and plenty of Demons found success.
Jacob Miller swept through all of the competition in his weight class with three pins in a combined 7:56. Jack Kleese went 2-1 with a 7-2 decision and a fall in 1:38 while Lane Schrock pinned a pair of opponents in a combined 3:43. Chase Greiner also had two victories with a 4-2 decision and a fall in 26 seconds. Curtis Stender nabbed a win with a pin in 3:54.
The whole varsity team will get back at it on Thursday when they travel to Fort Madison for a Southeast Conference dual.
