Exchanging the Orange and Black for Red and White is the plan for Washington’s Trashaun Willis, as the senior recently announced on social media his intentions to play football at Grand View University in Des Moines.

The multi-sport standout is being recruited as a linebacker, a position where he started for the Demons each of the past three seasons. The senior tallied 59 tackles this fall and registered a pick six. He also doubled as the quarterback where he compiled 1,530 total yards with 25 touchdowns and was named captain of the Class 3A all state team.

The Vikings are a part of the Heart of America Conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The powerhouse program has won 82% of their games in the last decade including a national championship in 2013.
