A Brighton man facing several drug charges was arrested for an alleged domestic abuse incident Wednesday.

According to the Washington County Communications Center, a sheriff’s deputy notified being enroute to the county jail at about 3:32 p.m. with wanted subject 41-year-old Steven Lee Haberberger, who is charged with domestic abuse assault impeding airflow, a class D felony; assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor; and reckless driving, a simple misdemeanor. Haberberger is being held on a $7,300 cash-only bond. He also has ongoing felony cases in Washington County for controlled substance violations and ongoing criminal activity.
