Washington County-area constituents can speak directly with their state legislators from the comfort of their home this Saturday.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce is kicking off their first of four annual legislative briefings with representatives Jarad Klein and Joe Mitchell and senators Kevin Kinney and Jeff Reichmann from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. via Zoom. The event will begin with each legislator allowed to give a brief update on the session followed by a question and answer session moderated by Chamber Executive Director Michelle Redlinger. The meeting is expected to begin promptly at 10 a.m., so participants are advised to arrive a few minutes early to the Zoom to test their audio and video functionality. Legislative briefings are slated to occur on the third Saturday of the month from January to April.
