A Saturday road trip to Oskaloosa was on tap for the Washington girls’ basketball team and the Indians protected home court in a 50-30 victory.
Oskaloosa (6-7) got up 11-3 after one, 20-9 at the break, and never allowed the Demons to get any closer in the 20-point win. Presley Blommers led all scorers with 13 points. The Demons did have a 36-24 advantage in the rebounding department with Alex Murphy hauling in 15 boards. The sophomore finished with seven points and Anna Nacos led the Demon scoring with nine.
Washington falls to 1-12 and they return to the court on Friday at Mount Pleasant (7-6).
