After suffering a one point setback at Hillcrest Union in December at the hands of Louisa-Muscatine, the Hillcrest boys basketball team exacted revenge Tuesday with a 54-24 road rout of L-M in Letts. The first eight minutes were controlled by the defenses with Hillcrest leading 6-4 after one period. From that point on, the Ravens outscored the Falcons 48-20 to run away with the win, including a 13-1 stretch that spanned the entire third quarter. Eli Ours led Hillcrest with a career high 29 points, including seven three point goals, John Hughes added 14. With the win, the Ravens have won seven of their last eight to run their overall record to 9-5. They will next be in action Friday when they host the Columbus Wildcats.
