After the matches, Mid-Prairie head coach Justin Garvey talked about the night and his seniors. “This year’s class is a bunch of workers. A lot of these guys when they started out were JV kids and they stayed in the room and grinded it out. Hats off to every single one of them. It was a lot of fun being able to have senior night here tonight and I’m really proud of them all. Against Durant, it was lopsided numbers wise but we got wins at all of the upper weights. Those guys are wrestling really tough right now.”

Mid-Prairie honored seniors Vinnie Bowlin, Ben Meader, Dominic McCain, Josh Wallington, Michael Kelly, Caitlyn Busch and Sarah Meader with a ceremony before the duals. After the night, Mid-Prairie is now 12-10 on the year.
