Making a trip to Champion Bowl in Ottumwa was the task for the Washington bowling team on Monday and the Demons had a top two individual finisher.

Junior Ethan Zieglowsky placed second in the triangular with a two-game series of 452 pins that was only behind Fairfield’s Chance Swan with 486. Zieglowsky’s high-game of 248 was also second in the entire field. Washington did not have enough for a full team, but placed third with a score of 1533 to Centerville’s 2258, and Fairfield’s 2627. Other Demon scores included Aidan Miller ninth with a 284 series, Caleb Zieglowsky 12th with 257, and Zakkary Hesseltine 15th with 55.

Washington gets back on the lanes tomorrow in Mount Pleasant.
