The WACO boys basketball team brought toughness and physicality to the lane during their most recent season. The Warriors led the Southeast Iowa Superconference , and were 10th in class 1A in Iowa,with 784 team rebounds, including 532 defensively and 252 on the offensive end. The WACO effort on the glass was led by Simeon Reichenbach who was fifth in the Superconference south with 165 total boards. His 108 defensive rebounds were sixth most in the division and his 57 offensive rebounds were seventh most. The Warriors finished the season with a 6-18 record.
