Hillcrest Academy guard Eli Ours was named to the class 1A all-Substate five team announced this week by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association. The senior led the Ravens scoring 16 points per game, third in the north division of the Southeast Iowa Superconference. He made a league leading 54 threes during the year. His 3.7 assists per night were best on the team and third in the league, his 2.7 steals a night were fourth in the conference and best for Hillcrest.

He ends his career with 203 steals, third in school history, fourth in career points with 1,188, fifth in three point goals with 139, and sixth in assists with 292. The Ravens finished the year with a 13-8 overall record.
