Four WACO girls’ basketball players received postseason recognition from the Southeast Iowa Super Conference being named to the all conference teams.

Ellah Kissell was the headliner being named to the first team in the South Division. The 5’10’’ sharp shooter had the most made threes in the division with 50 on the season while shooting at a 38% clip. Her 14.3 points a game ranked fifth in the league and the sophomore also hauled in 5.5 rebounds a night, totaled 55 assists, and 38 steals. Morgan Graber was named to the second team. The 5’10’’ senior was a defensive force with a conference leading three blocks an outing while chipping in with 8.4 points and 6.6 rebounds. Aubri Garnsey and Grace Coble rounded out the selections being named honorable mention. Garnsey paced the team with 72 assists and 54 steals while Coble averaged 5.7 points and 6.6 boards a contest. Also a part of the postseason accolades was head coach Lisa Graber, as she received Coach of the Year honors in the division. 

WACO finished the campaign with an 8-13 record, a three win improvement from last year.
