Time is running out to sign up for Hospice of Washington County’s Spring Trivia Spectacular.

The nonprofit organization’s twice annual trivia fundraiser is happening Friday, March 19th at Dallmeyer Hall located at the Washington County Fairgrounds. In compliance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance the organizers are limiting participation to 10 teams, and teams will have to bring their own food or beverage. Hospice of Washington County Office Administrator Stephanie Heisdorffer says a new element for this event is the public can sponsor a trivia round in memory of a loved one. Heisdorffer says she looks forward to getting together with friends and other supporters of Hospice, “It is an absolute blast. I’ve been a volunteer here since I moved to Washington and have always put together several teams. The first time around I put together teams they were like, ‘Oh man, Steph what are you getting me into?’ And then after that they’re like, ‘When’s the next trivia night?’ People have so much fun there. We have so much fun and obviously it’s for a good cause.”

Proceeds will go to support Hospice of Washington County, which provides a seven-county region with interdisciplinary services to patients including managing their pain and symptoms, emotional support, as well as speech and physical therapy when needed, and grief support to surviving loved ones and friends. Space is limited for the trivia night, and you can book your team by calling 319-653-7321.
