While the Washington Public Library is now offering open hours for the public to browse and access other services, there are still a few events for different ages coming up this March.

The library is offering “creepy crawly” take and make bags this Friday at 9 a.m. for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. The public is asked to take just one bag per child, which will be placed near the front entrance. Adults can take part in a “book club of letters” to leave a written note with a book you’ve enjoyed, and the monthly Washington Writers’ Workshop will take place at 10 a.m. March 26th over Zoom with a presentation by fiction writer Maya Eli Pearson of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
