A West Chester man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for a sex abuse conviction.

Court documents show that 54-year-old Lawrence Earl Eastwood pleaded guilty to third degree sexual abuse, a class C felony, for a January 1st, 2015 incident. Eastwood has been ordered to serve up to 10 years in prison and pay a $1,000 fine with a 15% surcharge. He must also serve parole for the rest of his life, and he was found not to have the reasonable ability to pay Category B restitution. Eastwood was originally charged with a class B felony for the offense and was arrested in 2019.
