Racking up points is what the Washington girls’ track team accomplished on Thursday when they traveled to Eddyville for the Rocket Relays and placed third out of seven schools.

The Demons collected 106 points while Fairfield got second with 146 and North Polk won it all with 152. Washington had three event champions including Molly Klinzman in the 200m (28.10), Ally Rees in the shot put (30’7.5’’), and the 4x800m relay team of Iris Peterson, Abby Kleese, Cloe Telleen, and Grace Voss (11:18). Other top performances included Klinzman second in the 100m (13.30), Kleese third in the 400m (1:07), 4x100m relay third (55.66), 4x400m relay third (4:44), shuttle hurdle third (1:21), and Voss was third in the high jump (4’6’’).
