The Highland soccer team will try to pick up their first win of the season tonight when they get back on the pitch making a trip to Danville.
The Huskies are 0-3 and will look to bounce back after a 9-4 loss to Columbus Community on Thursday. Owen Donovan leads the offense so far with three goals on the season and Ramses Vergara has found the back of the net twice with three assists. Eli Slaymaker has been busy in goal with 29 saves. Danville is 1-0 and showed off their offense in a 7-4 win over Wapello last week. Cam Edle and Talan Whaley each have two goals and Levi Svoboda has collected eight saves.
The Southeast Iowa Super Conference matchup gets started at 5 p.m. tonight at Danville High School.
