Funeral mass for 93-year-old Jeanette Hammes of Sigourney will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sigourney.  Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries – St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper.  Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 23, at the church, where there will be a vigil service at 4:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice, St. Mary Catholic Church or Meals on Wheels.  Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Jeanette and her family.
