The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association released their rankings for the third week of the spring sports season with two area teams highlighted. The Mid-Prairie boys remained at No. 8 in class 1A for the second straight week. The Hawks are still unbeaten on the season after posting a 2-0 week with wins over Anamosa and Prince of Peace to improve to 5-0.

Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union is in the receiving votes category again this week. The Wildcats are 5-1 on the season, shutting out Hillcrest 2-0 on the road Thursday in their only match of the week. The Golden Hawks and the Wildcats will meet on the pitch tomorrow in Columbus Junction.
