The Mid-Prairie girls soccer team got back on the winning track Thursday at Mediapolis, taking out the Bullettes 3-1. Each team scored in the first half, leaving the match tied at one at intermission. In the second half, the Golden Hawks took over on both sides of the ball, scoring twice while pitching a shut out defensively. Mid-Prairie got two goals from Esther Hughes in the winning effort and one from Julia Boller, Paytin Swartzentruber, Sophie Baker and Boller each had one assist. With the victory, Mid-Prairie improves to 6-3 as they get ready for Columbus on Monday in Wellman.
