Residents are advised of a maintenance sealcoating project in the City of Richmond beginning tomorrow.

The work on Main Street is expected to take about two days, weather permitting, with the contractor cleaning and patching the road surface tomorrow. During this time, drivers are encouraged to use caution in the work zone and pay attention to roadway signage and contractor employees for directions through the area. The road is expected to be closed on Wednesday while the sealcoating is placed, and motorists will have to find an alternate route until the work is completed.
