Sunday, just after 5 p.m. the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an assault with an electrical stun device in Oakland Mills Park. Authorities arrested 38-year-old Sherrie Benedict of Fairfield. She was charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon to injure or provoke fear, a class C felony, and assault with a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor. Benedict was ultimately detained by the Fairfield Police Department and transported back to the Henry County Jail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
