The Hillcrest Academy boys soccer team is back on the road Tuesday, competing in their fourth match in five days when they travel to Danville to meet the Bears. Hillcrest is 4-4 on the year after being shut out at Central Lee Monday, dropping a contest to the Hawks in double overtime 1-0. On the year, Noah Miller leads Hillcrest with six goals, John Hughes is best for the Ravens with three assists and Aiden Krabill has made 52 saves and has a 77.6% save percentage.
Danville is 2-3 on the year. The Bears were beaten by Mediapolis Monday 3-1. For the season, the Bears are led by Cam Edle with four goals. Dakota Diestch has a team best five assists. In goal, Levi Svoboda has made 54 stops with a 73% save percentage. Danville has won six of the last seven in the series including a 3-2 win in 2019. Action starts tonight at 5p.m. at Danville High School.
