Southeast Iowa Super Conference girls’ golfers gathered at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in Fort Madison on Monday for the conference meet and one area individual had a top three finish. 

Columbus Community’s Jobie Lekwa nabbed first team all conference honors by shooting a 96 in the 18-hole meet including carding a 45 on the front nine and 51 on the back. That was good enough to tie for third in the 51 player field while Alison Robu of Holy Trinity won it all with a 90. Highland had the best area team finish in fifth out of nine with 498 strokes, WMU was sixth with 500, and Columbus eighth with 552. The Huskies’ Charlie Aicher finished eighth individually to be on the second team with a 109. Teammate Kelsi Cerny was honorable mention with a 119, Jenna Waters shot a 134, and Kerra Longbine 136. The Wolves had two on all conference with Isabell Kann being on the third team with a 115 and Abbie Cooley was honorable mention with 118. Aubrey Meeker shot a 131 and Afton Wilkerson 136. Behind Lekwa, other Columbus scores included Vanessa Ayala 130, Faith Barnhart 142, and Atlie Hand 184. 

The team championship belonged to New London with 404 strokes.
