The Hillcrest Academy soccer team was eliminated from the class 1A substate playoffs Monday night by No. 1 ranked Burlington Notre Dame 4-0 on the road. The Nikes scored once in the first half to hold 1-0 advantage at the break. They would add three insurance goals after intermission to finish the win. Sam Brueck led Notre Dame with a hat trick. Aiden Krabill had six saves in goal for Hillcrest. Notre Dame advances to the substate final Wednesday. The Ravens say goodbye to eight seniors that saw time this year including Dominic Bouse, Eli Ours, Will Kolck, Aaron Hershberger, Aidan Yoder, London Schrock, John Hughes and Johnny Diaz.
