As we remember those who lost their lives while serving in the armed forces, residents are reminded of local Memorial Day services and office closures happening Tomorrow.

American Legion Post 29 will be holding a flag raising at the Washington Post Office at 8 a.m. Tomorrow, followed by a Navy/Marine Service at the Crooked Creek Bridge at 8:30 a.m., and then a service at 10 a.m. at the Washington Central Park, which is open to all veterans and the public. Washington county offices, Washington City Hall, and the Washington Public Library are all closed Tomorrow, as well as post offices and most banks. Washington County Mini Bus is not operating Tomorrow, and garbage pickup will also be delayed by one day this week.
