A public hearing followed by consideration of a resolution adopting plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the West Buchanan paving project will be held during the Washington City Council meeting tonight.

The council will also consider a resurfacing quote for the tennis/pickleball court project, second reading for ordinance amendments regarding a new Emergency Medical Services unit and utility rates, and release of retainage for the fire station and city hall/police department projects. The agenda also includes consideration of a resolution adopting revisions to sidewalk repair program guidelines, a five-year maintenance agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation, and a quote for North 4th patching.

The council meets at 6 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
