Free activities, pony rides, live music, and more were all enjoyed during Washington’s Summer Classic and Ridiculous Days.

The Ridiculous Days sidewalk sales began Thursday and ran through Saturday throughout Washington, and Family Day and Ridiculous/Ag Day brought attractions to the downtown square Friday and Saturday, including a combined tractor and Ridiculous Parade. This was Washington’s 74th annual Ridiculous Day, the longest held in Iowa, and in the princess and superhero contests three-year-olds Dawson Gipple and Nolan Stogdill won first place for princess and superhero, respectively. The KCII Big Red Radio broadcasted live from the summer classic as part of our Summer Town Tour, and you can view photos from the event on our Facebook page.
