A Wellman man is wanted for allegedly violating his probation on two Washington County cases.

The Linn County Jail reported having 25-year-old Taylor Austin Stout in their custody at about 4:01 p.m. Monday, according to the Washington County Communications Center. Stout is wanted for violating his probation on a deferred judgment for first-degree burglary, a class B felony, and domestic abuse assault first offense, a serious misdemeanor. A detainer was placed with Linn County and a total bond of $10,000 was issued.

Stout was ordered on October 23rd to serve five years probation for incidents that occurred on January 23rd, and February 3rd, 2020. Stout allegedly got into an altercation with a victim, took the victim’s phone and attempted to drive with the victim on top of the vehicle. The victim received injuries to her legs and body from the altercation. Stout also pleaded guilty for an incident in which he entered a residence and assaulted a victim in their bed with a wooden baseball bat. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
