The Washington County and Iowa public health departments are encouraging Iowans to share what areas they think are most important to the health and well-being of Iowans and their communities.

The Iowa Health Assessment survey asks participants to select up to three areas of most importance, and the Iowa Department of Public Health will work to address the key priorities identified in the survey as part of Healthy Iowans 2022-2026: A State Health Assessment of Iowa. As they transition to pandemic recovery, this process will highlight both opportunities for growth and the challenges we face as we assess public health in Iowa. This assessment will also be a counterpart to Washington County’s Community Health Assessment. The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and you can find a link here.
