A rare morning edition of Southeast Iowa Superconference softball is coming Wednesday when Hillcrest Academy hosts Mediapolis. The Ravens and Bullettes were supposed to meet Tuesday evening, but the weather had other ideas, forcing the reschedule for today.

The Hillcrest softball team is 0-14 coming into the day after dropping both ends of a doubleheader to Louisa-Muscatine on the road Monday. For the year, the Ravens are hitting .255 as a team with a staff ERA of 9.93. Individually, Hillcrest is led by Madeline Fox with a .407 average and 11 total hits. In the circle, Leah Bontrager has thrown 52 innings with an 0-11 record and 11.04 ERA. Mediapolis is 1-17 on the year. Last night they were beaten 4-0 by Highland. On the season, Bullettes are hitting .255 as a team with an overall ERA of 8.67. Individually, MEPO is led by Hallie Mohr with a .385 average with 20 hits and eight RBI. In the circle, Mohr is 1-11 with a 7.44 ERA in 70 innings. These two teams met on June 3rd with Mediapolis taking an 18-8 win.
